Flying Nun: Extended Play

MP3 Tall Dwarfs 3 Songs

MP3, 43m40s, 40MB, first broadcast 22 April 2012

In the history of Flying Nun releases, the importance of Chris Knox's TEAC 4 track recorder cannot be understated. The very first record recorded on the machine was Chris Knox and Alec Bathgate's first post-Toy Love project, Three Songs by Tall Dwarfs. Initially released on the short-lived Furtive label in 1981, by the time Flying Nun re-released Three Songs four years later Knox's 4 track had captured some of this nation's finest classics.

Told by Alec Bathgate, Doug Hood, Hamish Kilgour, Simon Grigg, and Paul Rose.
